New York Surf School SURF CAMP IS New York’s NUMBER ONE SURF CAMP!
THERE'S A LOT MORE TO SURFING THAN JUST STANDING ON A BOARD. AND THIS IS WHAT WE BRING ACROSS DURING OUR SURF CAMPS. WE IMPRESS ON OUR STUDENTS - KIDS AND ADULTS - THE IMPORTANCE NOT JUST OF SURFING, BUT OCEAN SAFETY AND THE BEACH ECOSYSTEM, ALL WHile HAVING FUN. EVERY MOMENT IS A TEACHABLE ONE.
SINCE 2005 NEW YORK SURF SCHOOL CAMP HAS BEEN offering instruction on HOW TO SURF IN A SAFE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT. OUR CAMP SURF INSTRUCTORS ARE C.P.R., LIFE SAVING, AND FIRST-AID CERTIFIED.
What can you expect at a week of surf camp?
LAND LESSONS
Everyday before we hit the water we teach our camp a land lesson. Each lesson focuses on helping the students understand the ocean by breaking down each surf session out in the water. With the ocean changing daily, we apply new techniques to help each camper get the most out of every session.
SURF SESSIONS
After each land lesson we hit the water for surfing. Our instructors are trained to identify yours or your child's comfort zone and place them in a group that caters to their needs. We have many different instructors on staff that specialize in all different skill levels ranging from advanced to first time surfers.
OUR MOTTO
We want each one of our campers to finish the week with a good understanding of everything surfing. From learning about the waves to meeting new friends, our camp’s motto is "The best surfer in the water is the one having the most fun."
